Role Overview

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven Cycle Counter to support a leading organization in the aviation industry in Lenexa, KS. In this critical role, you will help ensure inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and supply chain reliability—directly impacting production flow and aircraft readiness. Your precision and consistency will play a key role in keeping high-performance aviation operations running smoothly.

This is a Full-Time, 6-month contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion.

Position Details

• Job Title: Cycle Counter
• Location: Lenexa, KS 66219
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift (5:00 AM–3:30 PM; 4x10-hour shifts)
• Pay Rate: $19–$21 per hour
• Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
• Overtime: Available
• Potential: Extension or conversion to full-time employment
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

What You’ll Do

As a Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring product integrity across warehouse operations:

• Perform routine cycle counts and verify inventory quantities and conditions
• Maintain accurate records using barcode scanning and computerized inventory systems
• Execute stock transactions in inventory management systems
• Assist with order pulling and kitting/picking activities as needed
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies promptly
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to validate counts and adjustments
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions with accuracy and consistency
• Support overall warehouse efficiency and inventory control processes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or minimum 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma)
• 2–3 years of direct cycle counting experience (required)
• Experience with order pulling and inventory handling
• Ability to accurately perform basic math calculations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in kitting and/or picking operations
• Familiarity with warehouse or aviation supply environments
• Basic computer literacy and data entry experience
• Ability to quickly learn inventory management systems
