Pay Rate: Open to negotiation based on experience
As a Senior Project Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering execution of Balance of Plant (BOP)–scoped projects from contract signature through fulfillment, ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction on globally visible energy initiatives.
Serve as the technical leader for customer projects, defining scope, planning schedules, and monitoring engineering execution across the project lifecycle.
Own engineering execution of BOP‑scoped projects, managing risks, opportunities, and technical compliance from contract award through final obligations.
Lead and coordinate cross‑functional global engineering teams in a matrixed organization, partnering with project management, sourcing, quality, logistics, and scheduling.

Review customer specifications and ensure accurate flow‑down of contractual and technical requirements across all engineering disciplines.
Evaluate schedule and financial impacts of customer‑requested scope changes and support decision‑making with data‑driven recommendations.
Drive quality by enforcing procedures, supporting continuous improvement, and capturing lessons learned for future projects.
When assigned, serve as Senior Project Engineering Manager for total project solutions—aligning GT/ST/Generator/BOP requirements, managing system‑level technical risks, and supporting overall project profitability.
Travel approximately one week per month (primarily domestic and regional).
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related STEM discipline from an accredited institution.

Strong understanding of engineering best practices, quality processes, and cross‑disciplinary integration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing directly with customers.
Experience in the energy, power generation, or gas power industries.
Technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (one primary discipline preferred).
Knowledge of turbomachinery, generators, electrical systems, controls, and/or power plant auxiliary equipment.
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical codes, standards, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional or geographically distributed teams.
A continuous improvement mindset with strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
