Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity in Anaheim, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards and practices such as NFPA, DOT, ANSI, OSHA, etc. •Proficient computer skills and MS Office. •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. •Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. •Familiarity with handling confidential information and maintaining data privacy. •Effective communication and collaboration skills. •Proficiency with spreadsheets (excel) for tracking.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Provide Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds. •Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. •Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems. •Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds. •Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure. •Coordinating with vendors on contracted work. •Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical, Plumbing, walls & floors. •Utilizing ladders and lifts.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
