PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aviation industry to find a Software Engineer with a passion for Generative AI and advanced technologies. In this role, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking Aerospace Technologies Development Sandbox team, driving innovation that shapes the next generation of avionics systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and execute experiments leveraging Generative AI to enhance aerospace development processes
• Build and deploy AI-powered applications, including those using Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Collaborate across teams to deliver innovative, scalable software solutions
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support across multiple initiatives
• Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving system reusability
• Champion data-driven decision-making and rapid iteration to solve complex challenges
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Strong software development experience, including complex systems
• Proficiency in Python (3+ years)
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• Full-stack development expertise
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI (minimum 2 years)
• Familiarity with deploying AI-driven applications
• Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Haystack)
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to large groups
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
