Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Anaheim, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Requires practical knowledge of job area. •Microsoft Office Proficiency. •In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversees and manages internal and/or external operational aspects of ongoing projects within a program. •External aspects require leadership and broad expertise across a multitude of disciplines. • Internal aspects may include leading a subset of the projects scope, or interface between project management and planning, project team, and line management. • Influences the adoption of practices, approaches and concepts across multiple disciplines. •Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. •Develops and implements mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. • Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Prior project management experience in aerospace and defense environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. •Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. •In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
WORK HOURS: •Full-Time-9/80-1st Shift.
