Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, distribution, and delivery
Ensure on-time delivery performance and high levels of customer satisfaction
Monitor and optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels within budget constraints
Execute and continuously improve standard logistics processes, including:
Replenishment and inventory control systems
Demand planning and forecasting
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and logistics information systems
Data management and reporting systems
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders through logistics initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, and transportation teams
Analyze logistics data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
Benchmark against competitors and industry best practices to enhance operational performance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards across logistics operations
Support implementation of new systems, tools, and technologies to improve logistics efficiency
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and distribution systems
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP) and data management tools
Experience with EDI systems and demand planning tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in government, defense, or aerospace environments
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS (e.g., CPIM/CSCP)
Experience with logistics automation, digital transformation, or advanced analytics
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
Proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
