Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (EST)
(24/7/365 Operations Center – some weekends & holidays required; non-rotating shift)
Pay Rate: $34.66/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Month Contract
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a skilled Incident Manager (Tier 2). In this high-impact role, you’ll help ensure the reliability of global communication networks that support aviation operations. Your work will directly contribute to system uptime, customer satisfaction, and operational continuity in a fast-paced Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
As an Incident Manager, you will:
Monitor network systems and coordinate with telecom providers to restore service quickly and efficiently
Track and document incidents in real time using incident management tools
Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues with limited to moderate complexity
Support high-availability IP networks, messaging systems, and air-to-ground communication platforms
Escalate and collaborate with senior team members on complex or critical issues
Analyze system performance and proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities
Participate in network design, deployment, and configuration support
Provide clear guidance to customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues
Apply established processes with precision, ensuring minimal disruption to services
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
You’ll receive structured training across three critical NOC functions:
Transport: Monitoring core-to-edge network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, circuits)
DataLink: Supporting air-to-ground communication systems and ground station operations
Applications: Overseeing messaging systems that enable the flow of millions of daily communications
Required Qualifications:
AA/AS degree with 6+ years of experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of relevant experience
CCNA, Security+, or equivalent (or currently pursuing)
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols and system interconnectivity
Experience troubleshooting Cisco devices
Familiarity with HSRP/BGP routing protocols
Prior customer service experience
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
