Employee Development Specialist 3

Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Employee Development Specialists (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Auburn, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Strong background in Fabrication, Assembly, Composites and/or Quality Systems
• Strong background in training and instructional skills
• Regular and predictable attendance is required

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in adult training and instruction techniques who has a passion for training the next generation of skilled workers. This position supports our internal New Hire Onboarding program and foundational skills instruction. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
• Ability to apply knowledge of instructional skills (e.g. preparation, delivery, summary, assess student progress, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.)
• Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the content.
• Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods
• Identifies potential issues that impact performance and recommends development of improvement recommendations
• Able to assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors
• Analyze, validate, optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire, recall, and transfer employees
• Be able to support off-shift as necessary

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/SECOND SHIFT; 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Some 1st shift support.
