Your Impact
In this role, you’ll be at the core of developing cutting-edge electronic hardware that powers critical aviation systems. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to design, analyze, and refine printed circuit boards (PCBs) that meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and innovation. Your work will directly contribute to technologies that keep the aerospace industry moving forward.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop high-performance printed circuit boards (PCBs) for advanced electronic systems
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to define and refine technical requirements
Specify PCB stack-ups, electrical characteristics, and component selection
Perform trade studies and drive design decisions for optimal performance and manufacturability
Create schematics and layouts using tools such as Siemens Xpedition
Conduct signal integrity and thermal analysis using tools like HyperLynx
Lead and participate in design reviews, ensuring quality and continuous improvement
Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effective and producible designs
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including test plans and assembly instructions
Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting efforts
Contribute to sustaining engineering activities for existing products
Stay current with evolving technologies, tools, and industry trends
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
5+ years of experience in PCB design, assembly, debugging, and troubleshooting
Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics or similar)
Experience with industry-standard interfaces: DDR3/DDR4, PCIe, I2C, SPI/QSPI, JTAG
Working knowledge of VHDL/Verilog
Strong skills in simulation, modeling, and electronic hardware analysis
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in PCB design and analysis
Advanced expertise in VHDL/Verilog
Deep experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, SPI, etc.)
FPGA design and tool experience
Expert-level simulation and modeling capabilities
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly

Pay Details: $68.48 per hour
