Quality Inspector
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to add a Quality Inspector who takes pride in precision, safety, and craftsmanship. In this role, your work directly impacts flight safety and product integrity—every inspection you perform helps ensure components meet the highest aerospace standards under AS9100 certification.
As a Quality Inspector, you will be embedded within the production process, ensuring every part meets exact customer and regulatory specifications.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Inspecting machined parts before, during, and after production using standardized inspection methods
Performing visual and dimensional inspections with precision measuring tools
Verifying part dimensions and finishes against blueprints and job order specifications
Using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and surface plates
Supporting minor finishing operations to correct non-conforming parts when needed
Reading and interpreting basic blueprints and job orders
Adhering to Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety policies
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and training
Supporting production and quality teams with additional tasks as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic blueprint reading skills
Familiarity with inspection techniques and quality processes
Ability to use hand tools and inspection equipment
Good eyesight (20/20 with or without corrective lenses)
Strong math skills and attention to detail
Manufacturing or machining experience
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience inspecting machined or aerospace components
Technical understanding of part specifications
Job Type: Full-Time, 3‑Month Assignment
Schedule: Onsite | First Shift | 5x8 (Flexible start, flexible lunch)
Location: Monroe, WA 98272
Pay: $55.00 per hour
OT after 40 hours
7th day Double Time
