PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a Procurement Associate (Sr. Associate, Procurement) to support high-impact Engineering Development Lab (EDL) operations. In this fast-paced, rapid-response environment, you’ll play a critical role in sourcing materials needed for seat builds tied to both original designs and redesign efforts. Your ability to act quickly, strategically, and accurately will directly support engineering innovation and production success.

What You’ll Do

As a Procurement Associate, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities while helping ensure materials are sourced efficiently and delivered on time:

• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for direct and indirect materials
• Support rapid-turnaround sourcing needs for engineering build and test requirements
• Manage procurement activities for assigned Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Conduct competitive supplier bids and perform risk assessments to determine optimal sourcing solutions
• Maintain and update EDL SOW SharePoint dashboards with accurate, real-time information
• Utilize Ariba system tools to manage procurement workflows and compliance requirements
• Monitor vendor on-time delivery performance and meet monthly targets
• Collaborate in operational and leadership meetings to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements
• Assist in contract support activities, including LTAs and order creation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience
  OR 7+ years of relevant procurement experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience managing purchase orders, sourcing, or supply chain activities
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent attention to detail, urgency, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Ariba or similar procurement systems
• Background supporting engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environments
• Experience with supplier management, competitive bidding, or contract support (LTAs)
• Exposure to Kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
