Pay Rate: $38.99/hour - $48.86

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a highly skilled Aircraft Machinist. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in fabricating critical aircraft components with precision and accuracy. Your expertise will directly support production operations and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in aerospace manufacturing.
As an Aircraft Machinist, you’ll bring technical drawings to life and play a key role in advanced manufacturing:
Read and interpret moderately complex blueprints and specifications
Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to fabricate production parts
Machine out-of-sequence or emergent components as required
Develop and revise Machine Control Data (MCD) and part geometry
Assist team members in completing machining tasks and meeting production goals
Follow detailed verbal and written instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency
Maintain precision and quality standards throughout all machining processes
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
1+ year of experience reading and interpreting Machine Control Data (MCD)
1+ year of experience setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting the 787 program
3+ years of experience using manual mill and lathe machines
3+ years of experience setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines (3- and 5-axis)
Experience with NC/CNC setup, including probing and using dial indicators to establish set points
Strong ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
