PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced CMM Programmer. In this critical role, you’ll ensure the dimensional accuracy of complex aerospace components by developing and optimizing advanced measurement programs. Your work directly supports quality assurance, manufacturing excellence, and the safety of rotorcraft systems.


What You’ll Do

As a CMM Programmer, you’ll play a key role in bridging engineering design and manufacturing precision:

  • Develop, write, and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software
  • Apply advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to complex components and assemblies
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret technical drawings and 3D models
  • Use Catia and 3DX to extract and integrate design data into CMM programming workflows
  • Maintain, revise, and improve CMM programs based on design updates and process enhancements
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CMM operations and programming issues
  • Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communicate results, insights, and recommendations to engineering leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience developing and validating CMM programs for complex components
  • Advanced proficiency in Zeiss Calypso software
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and application
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Catia and 3DX for interpreting 3D models and technical drawings
  • Background in aerospace or rotorcraft manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in team settings

Pay Details: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour
