Summary:
Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, machining, equipment installation, and material handling.
Optimize facility layouts and machine arrangements for efficiency and productivity.
Define sequences of operations and develop procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment.
Adapt machine and equipment designs to meet production and factory conditions.
Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans.
Evaluate performance of machinery and tooling; identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop and apply statistical process control (SPC) methods.
Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specifications to improve manufacturability.
Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and quality standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience with composite main rotor blade systems (UH-60M experience highly desired).
3+ years of experience conducting bond cycle certification for blade bonding tools.
Proven ability to troubleshoot blade-level faults.
Experience using SAP and Solumina
Experience with manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, tooling, and material handling).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Experience with process development, work instructions, and production planning.
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and continuous improvement methods.
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
