JOB TITLE: RF Engineer

PAY RATE: $118.70/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (interim required to start).

Summary:
Support development and production of complex RF multi-function modules across the full product lifecycle.
Design and develop RF circuits, modules, and subsystems from concept through prototyping and full-rate production.
Solve complex technical problems with innovative and effective solutions.
Independently identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design and integration issues.
Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, circuit design, manufacturing, and technicians.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (interim required to start).
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 8+ years of experience, or 6+ years with a Master s degree.
Extensive experience in RF design at CCA, subsystem, or module level.
Experience with schematic capture, RF block diagram reviews, and CCA development.
Strong troubleshooting skills for design and integration issues.
Experience with microwave test equipment (e.g., network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
Proficiency with RF/microwave simulation tools (e.g., ADS, CST Microwave Studio, HFSS).
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Active Secret clearance.
Experience in the defense electronics industry.
Expertise in RF subsystems and hardware (antennas, transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation/conversion).
Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
Knowledge of microelectronics assembly techniques.
Strong technical documentation skills (specifications, schematics, test data).
Experience leading technical projects.
