Gear Up for Flight: Aviation Technician Wanted at PDS Tech

PDS Tech is seeking a skilled Technician to support the overhaul and repair of critical aircraft safety components, including oxygen systems and fire extinguishers. This is a great opportunity to grow within the aviation industry and transition into a long-term role.

• Pay: $22–$27/hr.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Type: Temp-to-Perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and overhaul oxygen masks, cylinders, regulators, and fire extinguishers

• Inspect incoming equipment and complete work orders

• Perform testing using pressure gauges and flow meters

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using maintenance manuals

• Conduct hydrostatic testing and ensure compliance with OEM specifications

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (A&P certification strongly preferred)

• 3–5 years of related experience

• Experience with hand tools and high-pressure oxygen systems

• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a shop environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass FAA drug and alcohol screening

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
