Pay Rate: $36.18 - $40.13/HR
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a detail-driven Manufacturing Planner who thrives at the intersection of engineering and production. In this role, you’ll help define how complex aerospace components are built—translating designs into actionable manufacturing plans that keep production on track and on time.
Your work will directly support production efficiency, quality, and delivery commitments—making you a key contributor to the success of cutting-edge aviation programs.
Bring structure and precision to the manufacturing process through:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and visual aids
Defining and documenting as-built configurations to ensure production accuracy
Supporting the integration of suppliers, materials, processes, and technologies to meet delivery goals
Reviewing supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements
Identifying tooling needs and initiating tooling orders based on engineering and production demands
Assisting with tooling dispositions and producibility assessments for parts and designs
Investigating and resolving manufacturing-related issues of limited scope
Creating work statements and sequencing events to support production schedules
Maintaining and monitoring internal documentation for accuracy and compliance
Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and production teams
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s (AA) degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ year of experience in manufacturing, machining, or related environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience working with parts, preferably in aerospace or similar industries
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments
Familiarity with tooling processes and production planning systems
Basic understanding of manufacturing process improvement and workflow optimization
