What You’ll Do

• Communicate effectively to receive and understand work assignments
• Perform or assist with basic aircraft inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications under close supervision
• Assist with movement of aircraft as required
• Accurately complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and related documentation in a timely manner
• Ensure all work meets established quality standards and specifications
• Properly identify and tag customer property and equipment
• Securely store aircraft components and customer property to prevent damage or loss
• Operate ground support equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, including external power carts, hydraulic power units, lift platforms, forklifts, and compressed gas cylinders
• Ensure all customer property is properly protected during maintenance activities

Additional Responsibilities

• Use material tracking systems to create parts demand and charge labor to work orders, items, and squawks
• Properly collect, handle, and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent materials
• Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas
• Properly use, maintain, and return company-provided tools and equipment to designated storage areas
• Follow all safety rules and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment
• Identify, address, and report unsafe conditions to prevent risk to personnel or property
• Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including participation in flight tests when required

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years toward an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• Experience working in an FAA-regulated maintenance or repair environment
• Familiarity with Lean, 6S, or continuous improvement initiatives
