PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aviation leader to find a skilled Tool Coordinator to support the E-4B program in San Antonio. In this role, you’ll be essential to ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are properly managed, maintained, and available—keeping mission-critical aviation operations running on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Tool Coordinator, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining operational readiness:

• Route materials to proper storage locations following established procedures
• Conduct inventory checks and report any damage or deterioration
• Issue and prepare materials for shipment and internal use
• Maintain strict compliance with tool control, FOD prevention, and safety regulations
• Analyze production schedules to ensure availability of tools and materials
• Investigate and resolve material shortages or discrepancies
• Order tools, parts, and equipment as needed
• Support inventory control, housekeeping, and facility standards
• Perform detailed analysis of complex inventory and scheduling challenges when required
• Work in varying environments, adhering to all safety and PPE requirements

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse inventory management with strong accountability
• Computer proficiency and ability to manage inventory systems
• Ability to obtain a forklift license
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Strengths:

• Experience supporting aviation or manufacturing environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with production scheduling and material planning

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly (team lifts required for heavier loads)
• Comfortable working on ladders, elevated platforms, and in confined spaces
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and balancing
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must pass vision and color perception tests
• Comfortable working in noisy environments and around hazardous materials
• Regular, reliable attendance is essential
