PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading force in the aviation industry to find an experienced Project Manager ready to drive critical certification efforts within Flight Controls and Mechanical Hydraulic Systems (FCMH). In this role, you won’t just manage projects—you’ll orchestrate alignment, optimize performance, and ensure the success of programs that shape the future of flight.

What You’ll Do

As a key contributor reporting to the FCMH Senior Certification Leader, you will:

• Lead coordination of certification activities across development and sustaining airplane programs
• Drive weekly alignment of priorities and manage daily Statements of Work (SOW) for Engineering Unit Members (E-UMs)
• Ensure program and applicant priorities are clearly defined, communicated, and executed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify constraints and maintain progress
• Track performance against weekly commitments and ensure deliverables are met
• Maintain clear, proactive communication to resolve issues and keep projects on course
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and throughput

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
• Typically 10+ years of related work experience
  OR
• Master’s degree with typically 8+ years of related work experience
• Proven experience in project management within engineering or aerospace environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting certification activities in aviation or aerospace
• Familiarity with flight control systems or mechanical/hydraulic systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional teams
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency
