Role Summary
As a Assembly & Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting standardized tests on a diverse range of aviation equipment. Your meticulous recording and analysis of test results will ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Build, Repair, and Restore Critical Mechanical Systems

We’re looking for a motivated Mechanical Assembly & Teardown Technician to support precision repair, overhaul, and assembly operations. In this hands on role, you’ll work with detailed manuals and modern systems to disassemble, inspect, repair, test, and reassemble components—playing a key role in quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform independent teardown processes using work instructions and priority lists
  • Disassemble, repair, overhaul, modify, and assemble units per manuals, CMMs, service bulletins, and instructions
  • Interpret work scope from customer purchase orders (POs)
  • Conduct visual and mechanical inspections to assess malfunction, damage, or wear
  • Clean units/components using approved resources and methods
  • Perform bench and functional tests to verify repair completion
  • Execute full disassembly, analysis, assembly, and testing cycles
  • Accurately complete all required documentation
  • Use SAP for system tasks and retrieve instructions from SharePoint, Teamcenter, and Technical Publications
  • Operate assigned equipment and maintain organized workspaces
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support operating system standards
  • Record, analyze, and interpret data; perform product changeovers and process corrections
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

What You Bring

Must Have / Knockout Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience or equivalent trade school education
  • Proficiency in mechanical disassembly and component cleaning
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written, verbal, and manual instructions in English
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications (We Value)

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • Prior aerospace mechanical experience
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Creativity and idea generation for process improvements
  • Familiarity with SAP, SharePoint, Teamcenter, and Technical Publications
  • Understanding of customer purchase orders (POs)

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
