The Election Technician is responsible for providing hands on technical support for election related equipment. This role ensures voting equipment is properly tested, deployed, and functioning correctly before, during, and after election day. Technicians will also travel to voting locations as needed to troubleshoot equipment issues and support election operations.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct pre election testing on tabulators and voting equipment using provided checklists and written procedures.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify appropriate repairs or resolutions.
Escalate complex issues and obtain assistance when required.
Perform post election testing to verify equipment operability.
Travel to jurisdictional voting locations to ensure equipment is functioning properly or to resolve issues on site.
Communicate clearly and effectively with project leads and dispatchers.
Follow all documented procedures and quality management guidelines.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with general technology products (e.g., computers, printers, scanners).
Valid driver’s license required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working within a quality management process.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of electronic equipment operation and safe handling practices.
Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Effective time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from the project management team.
Dependable work ethic with consistent punctuality.
Physical Demands
Equal amounts of time spent walking/standing, sitting, pushing/pulling, and lifting.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Work involves frequent handling of tools, equipment, and materials.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
