Schedule: Monday to Friday; Shifts: 2nd 2:00PM- 10:30PM
Pay Rate: $39.73 to $44.14 per hour
As an Employee Development Specialist, you will support the Production System Training (PST) organization within the companies Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC), delivering hands-on, high-quality instruction to new hire, transfer, and recall employees.
Your work will directly impact the production of critical electrical systems—including wire harnesses, power panels, and shelf assemblies on commercial jetliners as well as military derivatives such as the P-8 and 767 Tanker. You won’t just teach—you’ll enable operational excellence and workforce readiness across one of the most advanced aerospace production environments in the world.
Deliver engaging, effective instruction using proven adult learning and instructional techniques (preparation, delivery, assessment, remediation, and learner engagement)
Communicate complex technical content clearly using multiple training media to ensure comprehension and retention
Identify learning objectives and adapt curriculum content and delivery methods to meet business needs
Assess training requirements and coordinate course scheduling and instructor assignments
Analyze training requests for new hires, recalls, and transfers to ensure alignment with production needs
Identify performance gaps and recommend targeted development or process improvements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize training effectiveness and workforce readiness
This is a fully onsite role supporting a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment in Everett, WA with a variable 2nd shift schedule.
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
1+ year of experience using reporting tools
Experience delivering presentations and public speaking in professional settings
Experience designing, developing, and/or delivering instructional or training content
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience teaching technical subject matter in an adult learning environment
Strong background in electrical systems (fabrication, installation, testing, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with Production System and Quality Management System (QMS)
Working knowledge of ESRC processes and aerospace manufacturing standards
Experience navigating tools such as Wireshop Homepage, BAC specifications (D6-36911), SWI, SOPs, and Redars
Experience using Learning Management Systems (e.g., My Learning)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
