JOB TITLE: F 16 Aircraft Structures Technician
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

Summary:

    Interpret blueprints and fastener layouts to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal and structural assemblies/subassemblies for F-16 aircraft

    Perform hands-on production structural build-up of fuselage components

    Use precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality of assemblies

    Conduct structural assembly operations including:

      Precision drilling and reaming

      Riveting and installation of various fasteners

      Countersinking and part trimming

    Support aircraft structural assembly, maintenance, and repair activities

    Work in a production environment focused on F-16 structural assembly

Requirements:

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and fastener layouts

    Experience in aircraft structural assembly, sheet metal work, or related manufacturing environment

    Proficiency in precision drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and part trimming

    Experience using precision measuring tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

    Knowledge of aircraft structural assembly processes and maintenance operations

    Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude in production/build-up environments

    Ability to perform fuselage and structural component assembly work

    Understanding of fastener installation and sheet metal fabrication techniques

    Ability to follow detailed work instructions and adhere to quality standards

    Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift (training provided on 1st shift before final assignment)

      1st Shift: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

      2nd Shift: Monday Thursday, 4:30 PM 3:00 AM

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
