Summary:

Support the development of safety-critical embedded software systems for aerospace applications, focusing on real-time, high-reliability platforms.

The engineer will contribute to the full software lifecycle including design, implementation, integration, and verification of embedded systems operating within regulated aerospace environments.

The position requires strong technical depth in embedded C/C++ development, avionics architectures, and hardware/software integration, with a focus on delivering compliant and reliable solutions in accordance with DO-178 standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university

4+ years of experience developing safety-critical software in aerospace or related industries

Strong experience with C and C++ embedded software development

Experience working on safety-critical embedded systems in compliance with DO-178 standards

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and ARINC 653 Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) architecture

Experience with embedded communication protocols including RS232, RS485, CAN, and Ethernet

Experience with SoC configuration and system integration

Experience with hardware description languages such as VHDL and Verilog

Experience using MATLAB and Simulink for modeling, simulation, and data analysis

Proficiency with Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Bitbucket (Git), Confluence, and Crucible

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
