JOB TITLE: eLearning Designer - Remote
LOCATION: Remote (West Coast / PST Time Zone)
PAY RATE: Up to $50/hour

Job Details:

Job Type: 3 6 month contract (potential for direct hire)

Schedule: Part-time (25 30 hours/week, 1st shift)

Summary:

Design and develop engaging eLearning content aligned with compliance and business objectives

Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define learning goals, outcomes, and instructional strategies

Manage the end-to-end content development process from discovery through publishing

Apply instructional design standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness

Create supplemental materials (infographics, FAQs, knowledge checks)

Conduct learning needs analyses and present recommendations to stakeholders

Ensure content accuracy through ongoing collaboration with SMEs

Translate complex information into learner-friendly formats using adult learning principles

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field

5+ years of instructional design experience, focused on eLearning development

Proficiency with tools such as Articulate, Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud)

Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick)

Proven ability to transform complex content into engaging learning experiences

Experience working independently and collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder environment

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities

Experience maintaining confidentiality with sensitive data

Articulate 360 Suite (Storyline & Rise) or Adobe Captivate

Adobe Creative Suite

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
