What You’ll Do

As a Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of program planning and execution while collaborating across diverse teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, coordinating, and maintaining integrated project plans and schedules for complex programs
  • Leading analyses (trend, variance, impact) and conducting risk assessments to guide decision-making
  • Identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies, and refining business cases
  • Establishing lead time requirements and optimizing planning processes
  • Ensuring integration of schedules, change management, and baseline controls using industry best practices
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives
  • Directing projects or subsystems from inception through completion, aligning internal and external commitments
  • Collaborating with engineering, production, and supplier management teams to deliver results
  • Advancing Agile work management frameworks and improving tools and processes (e.g., JIRA)

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and drive them to successful completion
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Experience with airplane systems or integrated system development projects
  • Background working across engineering, production, and supplier management teams
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools such as JIRA
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver impactful results

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of engineering experience, OR
  • Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, OR
  • PhD with relevant engineering experience

Pay Details: $54.10 per hour
