Key Responsibilities:
Support the design, development, testing, and integration of RF systems
Apply electrical and electronic theory to build, repair, and modify components and circuitry
Assist engineers in evaluating system performance and troubleshooting technical issues
Work on communication systems including DoD networks, public-safety radio systems, and mesh networks
Develop and apply technical specifications, standards, and procedures
Conduct system testing, evaluations, and provide data for technical reports and presentations
Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
Required Qualifications:
10–12+ years of experience troubleshooting and supporting DoD communication systems or networks
1–3+ years of experience with Project 25 (P25) public-safety radio systems
Experience integrating RF systems into mobile or transit-based platforms
Strong understanding of electrical and electronic theory and its practical application
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RF Line-of-Sight (LoS) systems (VHF, UHF, 700/800 MHz, analog & trunked/P25 systems)
Knowledge of HF communications, signal propagation, and antenna deployment
Familiarity with radio operation protocols and communication standards
