PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation organization to hire skilled Aviation Maintenance Technicians ready to make a direct impact on military readiness and global security. In this role, you’ll perform critical structural repairs and modifications on advanced aircraft, including P-8 platforms, ensuring they return to service safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you’ll be hands-on with complex aircraft systems and structural components:
Perform structural repairs and overhauls on P-8 aircraft and related components
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Identify, remove, and install various fasteners (rivets, hi-locks, bolts, etc.)
Execute precision drilling and measurement tasks within tight tolerances
Fabricate, assemble, and modify metallic and composite aircraft structures
Apply finishes including primer, paint, sealants, and corrosion control treatments
Utilize precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and feeler gauges
Use assembly jigs and repair equipment to ensure blueprint compliance
Complete maintenance documentation, logbooks, and work packages accurately
Read and apply Airworthiness Directives, Technical Directives, and Service Bulletins
Identify and escalate discrepancies or technical issues to leadership
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic (commercial, defense, or apprenticeship)
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Experience with close tolerance drilling (within .003) and precision measurement
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with military aircraft (P-8 or similar platforms)
Advanced precision skills (drilling within .001 and measurement within .0005)
Familiarity with structural repair, corrosion control, and aircraft finishing processes
Experience using assembly jigs, repair equipment, and specialized tooling

Pay Details: $30.86 per hour
