Electronics Test & Debug Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Test & Debug Engineer with hands-on experience supporting complex electronic assemblies, mixed-signal test environments, and production hardware troubleshooting.

In this role, you will collaborate across engineering, integration, and manufacturing teams to support advanced electromechanical and electronic systems throughout the product lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities
Perform testing, debugging, and validation of electronic assemblies and subsystems
Troubleshoot complex hardware issues in mixed-signal environments
Conduct Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and implement solutions
Support manufacturing and production test activities
Analyze schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
Utilize lab equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and test efforts

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
3-5+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience in one or more of the following:
Digital, analog, RF, or mixed-signal testing and debugging
Circuit card assemblies (CCA) or electromechanical systems
Manufacturing or production test support
Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes

Strong hands-on experience with lab equipment:
Oscilloscopes
Logic analyzers
Function generators
Power supplies
Other electronic diagnostic tools

Ability to interpret:
Schematics
PCB layouts
Bills of Materials (BoMs)


Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting production engineering for electrical or mechanical hardware
Background in electronic subsystem or CCA design, including:
Digital, analog, RF, EO, or sensor-based systems
Circuit design, PCB fabrication, and test automation

Experience with engineering tools such as:
Mentor Graphics
PSPICE / SystemVision
MATLAB / Mathcad
HFSS, CST, ADS

Familiarity with:
Spectrum analyzers and signal generators
Software scripting or automated test development

Experience with:
Subsystem integration & testing
Post-test analysis and SPC methods
Technical documentation and engineering change processes
Ability to work independently and within small, agile teams
Experience with task leadership, estimation, status tracking, and proposal support
