Position Overview: We are looking for Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane structures and installation production support, production readiness and rate planning. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including support of the world class fighter aircraft production.

Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including several engineering disciplines, operations leadership, and quality engineering to support the production and manufacturing processes for the F-15 aircraft Ensure support for efficient daily operations by supporting daily build plans and constraint identification and removal Utilize data and teaming with other functions to identify opportunities to improve the production of the F-15 fighter jet Implement quality and producibility production improvement initiatives Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Physical demands: Nonspecific, only mobility to include walking, stairs, balance/ work stands, kneeling, etc on aircraft up to 10% of work hours Required Skills: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Level 4: 9 + years work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 7+ years of work-related experience with a master’s degree OR work-related experience with a PhD
Preferred Skills: B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering Composite Fabrication experience Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers Experience with 3D model based instruction Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, MultiMonitor Collaborative Rooms Typical Experience with manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESCi) Active Secret Clearance
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
