Summary:
Assemble, disassemble, and modify aircraft components and systems.
Troubleshoot conventional weapons systems, electronic and electro-mechanical components, fire control systems, electro-environmental systems, subassemblies, alternate mission equipment, and test equipment.
Perform maintenance, repair, inspection, fabrication, and configuration changes of integrated systems.
Remove, install, and test electronic components, fire control systems, bomb navigation systems, and related subassemblies.
Perform pre-test, operational, functional, electrical, mechanical, and final testing of systems both on and off equipment.
Conduct explosive operations: load, unload, arm, safe, and position assigned conventional air munitions and pyrotechnics.
Control tools, maintain work area cleanliness, and complete work control documents per established procedures.
Support shift operations with flexibility across multiple shifts as program demands evolve.
Requirements:
Secret clearance required to start.
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 5 years of military avionics or similar experience on any platform.
Testing, repair, and configuration experience with aircraft systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs and work in various positions.
Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience with M240 maintenance and uploading chaff/flare onto aircraft.
Explosive handling for squibs.
Knowledge of IMDS, AF-21-10, TO 00-20-1.
Military background and helicopter maintenance experience.
Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) experience.
