Embedded Software Engineer

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Must have an active secret clearance
•Candidates must have 6+ years of Real-time embedded software development experience.
•Candidates must have 6+ years with C++ (version 11 or higher)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•The candidate will experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Multi-threading, multi-core, multi-processing embedded software development experience
Integration and test experience involving software and hardware
•Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
GoogleTest or similar Unit test tool

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•Accredited Bachelor’s degree from a college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

WORK HOURS:
•Full-Time
•4/10 work schedule
•1st Shift
