PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Product Repair/Modification Technician to support a premier aerospace partner’s Executive Fleet in San Antonio, TX. In this hands-on, high?impact role, you’ll perform vital repair, modification, and maintenance work that ensures aircraft readiness, reliability, and performance for elite aviation programs.

Install, remove, and rig flight controls.
Perform aircraft landing gear servicing and heavy general maintenance tasks.
Conduct essential component replacements including servo pumps, filters, and engine elements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, specs, and retrofit requirements.
Access aircraft data via computer systems and initiate parts requests and discrepancy reports.
Use precision measuring instruments and gauges to ensure quality compliance.
Apply Hazardous Energy and Lockout/Tagout procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Follow all established safety and operational procedures while using shop and aircraft equipment.
Support avionics, structures, and electrical teams to maintain schedule commitments.
Diagnose and resolve process malfunctions during assembly or maintenance activities.
Maintain required certifications and licenses.
Successfully complete an assessment during the training cycle.
4+ years of depot-level or heavy general aircraft maintenance.
4+ years of experience with aircraft interior and exterior systems including hydraulics, flight controls, landing gear, fuel systems, and engines.
4+ years of experience reading schematics, specs, and assembly drawings.
Experience accessing aircraft data using computer systems.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
High school diploma or GED.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience performing aircraft engine runs and borescope inspections.
Experience operating tugs, forklifts, mobile cranes, or powered lift equipment.
Experience with REDARS and/or Gold-ESP systems.
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces.
Lift up to 35 lbs solo; occasional two-person lifts over 50 lbs.
Frequent walking, standing, reaching overhead, and balancing on uneven surfaces.
Ability to pass vision and color perception tests.
Use of PPE for eyes, face, ears, hands, and arms.
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials as required.

Competitive pay:
$40/hr with A&P License
$35/hr without A&P License
