PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Technician. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble and fabricate critical aircraft components that contribute directly to the safety, performance, and reliability of advanced aviation systems.

What You’ll Do

• Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks
• Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
• Install wire harnesses and avionics systems
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and production orders
• Prepare surfaces and apply coatings for corrosion protection and appearance
• Perform basic chemical conversion and paint preparation processes
• Work on moderately complex assemblies following established procedures
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and production performance

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs, bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of related experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or aerospace
• At least 3 months of hands-on experience in aerospace or production environments
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Continuous Improvement, Standard Work)
• Experience working with safety, quality, and production metrics
