Summary:

Visually inspect solder connections for surface mount and plated thru-hole components.

Interpret IPC standards to determine accept/reject criteria.

Review drawings, diagrams, parts lists, work instructions, and revision-controlled documents.

Document and communicate quality defects effectively to all levels of operations.

Use measuring devices such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales to verify assembly quality.

Collaborate with team members to maintain quality standards and continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience inspecting solder connections per IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001.

Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, and IPC manuals.

Proficient with personal computers.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to interface professionally and diplomatically across all levels of operations.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
