In this role, you’ll be trusted to apply your technical judgment and analytical skills across critical engineering activities, including:
Perform mechanical lifing and finite element analyses on rotating gas turbine blades using ANSYS Classic
Build, manipulate, and modify solid models using NX
Analyze defects, assess failure modes, and evaluate component durability (LCF, HCF, creep)
Post‑process results and clearly document and present findings to technical stakeholders
Apply established mechanical design practices, templates, and engineering standards
Partner cross‑functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams as a Design Liaison Engineer
Support continuous improvement efforts by using engineering tools, lifing templates, and best practices
We’re looking for motivated engineers who bring both technical strength and collaborative spirit:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
2+ years of relevant engineering experience
Hands‑on experience with:
ANSYS Classic and Finite Element Analysis
NX solid modeling
Strong understanding of engineering mechanics and failure modes (LCF, HCF, creep)
Experience designing or analyzing rotating machinery, ideally hot gas path components
Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
A humble, open‑minded mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Note: This position is specifically for a Design Liaison Engineer. Candidates must meet the listed requirements to be considered.
While not required, the following experience will help you shine:
