Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Continuous Improvement Leader to support high-rate aerospace production environments. This role will focus on process optimization, production efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on role supporting factory operations, supplier coordination, and production scaling efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead manufacturing process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Develop and optimize production workflows, factory layouts, and assembly processes
Identify and implement cycle time reduction and cost savings initiatives
Support production rate increases and capacity planning efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and quality
Analyze production data and provide actionable recommendations for efficiency improvements
Support supplier performance and manufacturing readiness activities
Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering
Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction
Experience supporting production environments or factory operations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification
Aerospace or defense industry experience
Experience with factory layout, capacity planning, or production scaling
Supplier quality or supply chain experience
Experience in high-rate manufacturing environments
