Summary:
Routes materials to prescribed storage locations in accordance with established storage procedures.
Conducts inventory of stored materials and reports any deterioration or damage.
Removes and issues material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
Performs assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.
Performs duties on all shifts regardless of weather or physical location conditions.
Orders parts, tools, materials, and equipment as needed to perform assigned duties.
Complies with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety, tool control, FOD, contracts, facilities, housekeeping, inventory control, and other relevant requirements.
Reviews and analyzes production scheduling requirements to determine necessary products, materials, and actions to ensure sufficient materials and hardware are available to meet schedules.
Identifies, investigates, and analyzes problems, coordinating solutions to maintain quality standards, schedules, and budgets for material costs.
Performs in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirements, inventories, schedules, and configuration control as needed.
Performs other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company, programs, and employees.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
4+ years of experience in warehouse inventory, including parts accuracy and accountability.
Competent in using computers.
Current forklift license or ability to obtain one.
Ability to ascend and descend vertical ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
Exposure to noise and working on elevated platforms.
Use personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms as required.
Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
Read, write, and comprehend English.
Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely.
Obtain and maintain required training certifications.
Occasional finger manipulation (1 3 hours).
Occasional two-person lift for weights over 50 lbs.
Frequent overhead reaching (3 6 hours).
Frequent walking and standing on flat or uneven surfaces.
Frequent balancing on ladders, steps, or uneven surfaces.
Occasional climbing on 3 12 ft ladders or stands.
Frequent rotation of head/neck, sitting, crawling, squatting, bending/stooping, lying down, and operating foot controls for extended periods.
Occasional contact with metals.
Frequent exposure to noise.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
