PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace innovator to hire a skilled Product Repair/Modification Technician. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and driven by precision, this is your opportunity to work on advanced aircraft systems and play a direct role in ensuring flight safety and performance.

Your Impact

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of aircraft reliability—assembling, repairing, and modifying critical components that keep aerospace operations running safely and efficiently. Your expertise ensures every system meets strict regulatory and flightworthiness standards.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems and components
• Perform structural repairs including fatigue, corrosion control, and composite work
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft components such as flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems
• Interpret technical documentation including blueprints and manufacturer manuals
• Conduct inspections and verify repairs meet flightworthiness requirements
• Document all procedures, repairs, and test results to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual standards
• Utilize specialized tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, and test equipment
• Support and occasionally lead teams on more complex aircraft tasks
• Prioritize workloads to meet project schedules and deadlines

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with P-8 aircraft
• Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and part replacement
• Working knowledge of sheet metal/structural modifications and repairs
• Basic understanding of electrical theory
• Familiarity with aircraft tools, equipment, and technical publications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military or commercial aviation experience
• Experience with Boeing 737 aircraft
• 1+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and hands-on training
