PAY RATE: $57/hour

Summary:

    Develop and revise military flight publications (Flight Manuals, Operating Manuals, Checklists, Handbooks, Weapons Manuals, Weight & Balance)

    Collect, research, and analyze engineering data and specifications

    Lead development and maintenance of flight manuals, checklists, and crew procedures

    Collaborate with SMEs (engineers, technicians, pilots, flight test, and publications teams)

    Create and manage technical publication project plans, budgets, and schedules

    Conduct peer reviews, quality checks, and validation of technical documentation

    Interface directly with customers to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables

    Develop logistics support data, provisioning solutions, and maintenance concepts

    Analyze system reliability, availability, and operational performance to support maintenance planning

Requirements:

    Bachelor s degree with 6+ years of related experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master s + 4 years or 10+ years of experience)

    5+ years of experience with flight series publications (military or commercial derivative manuals)

    Flight or flight training experience (pilot, flight engineer, or similar)

    Proficiency working with flight manuals and technical publications

    Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and system documentation

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word) and Adobe Acrobat Pro

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
