Summary:
Analyze engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance and repair requirements.
Develop and apply fault isolation procedures and techniques.
Create systems theory descriptions to ensure common understanding of systems and components.
Conduct engineering analyses to verify accuracy of maintenance and repair data.
Develop, review, and support logistics support documentation, including:
Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP)
Product Support Analysis Plans (PSAP)
Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD)
Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
Other logistics supportability analysis (LSA) documents
Provide technical solutions and evaluate customer maintenance operations.
Develop procedures and techniques for effective product maintenance and repair.
Participate in organizational activities influencing the aerospace industry.
Utilize software and desktop tools for data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
Collaborate with program management and engineering teams.
Lead or participate in in-person and virtual working group meetings.
Communicate confidently with customers and suppliers.
Work within budget and schedule constraints.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain Secret clearance
3 5 years of experience in Power Plant, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Environmental systems.
1 2 years of experience using aircraft technical manuals and Technical Orders (TOs) or equivalent.
Ability to interpret engineering data and use TOs to maintain military aircraft.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-HDBK-502A.
Proficiency with LSA software applications (Slicwave, EAGLE, Powerlog, Compass).
Experience with military and commercial maintenance manuals, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, overhaul manuals, drawings, wiring diagrams, and parts illustrated manuals.
Commercial or weapon system integration experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in airworthiness certification for commercial or military aircraft.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Skilled in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Understanding of multiple engineering disciplines and systems thinking.
1+ year of cost account and project engineering management experience.
Aircraft experience with B-52 Bomber or AWACS.
