JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Engineer
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $71.92/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

    Job Type: Contract (Up to 6 months with potential for extension)

    Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required

    Shift: First shift, 4/10 schedule

    Schedule: 2 days WFH (Mon Tue), 2 days onsite (Wed Thu)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Develop and maintain software quality standards, methods, and processes

    Conduct inspections, verification, and validation of software

    Review specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies

    Ensure project/process documentation compliance

    Lead cross-functional teams for root cause investigations, corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5-Why, Fault Tree, PFD, FMEA, Standard Work, Control Plans)

    Manage supplier quality assurance and non-conforming product disposition

    Perform First Article Inspections per AS9102

    Support US Government Department of Defense programs

Requirements:

    Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required

    Bachelor s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)

    Telework 50% (Mon Tue WFH; Wed Thu onsite)

    Quality engineering experience developing/reviewing requirements, standards, procedures, and control plans

    Experience with D/PFMEA, audits, inspection of electronic/electromechanical assemblies

    Strong understanding of AS9100 QMS and special processes

    Project management and multitasking skills

    Effective interpersonal and communication skills in hybrid environments

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Project, Visio)

    Ability to interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Finance, suppliers, and customers

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

    Supplier quality assurance/control experience

    Experience supporting DoD customers

    Experience leading corrective/preventive action initiatives
