Summary:

Support data and telemetry system architecture, testing, and operations

Prepare and maintain network/data systems for flight tests

Determine data flow and recommend system improvements

Develop and maintain software tools and test procedures

Collaborate with engineering teams and telemetry/network specialists

Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi, cloud, etc.)

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues; support live flight operations as escalation point

Administer servers, virtualization (VMware), and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP)

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and change control processes

Deploy, configure, and support networking and RF/VOIP systems

Support mission operations onsite and at remote test locations

Requirements:

Level II: B.S. + 2 5 years experience

Senior: B.S. + 5 10 years experience

Staff: B.S. + 10 20 years experience

Experience in network/data/telemetry engineering in test or operational environments

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet networking, and troubleshooting

Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba (GUI & CLI)

Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and networking technologies (STP, IPsec, NAT, AAA, 802.1X)

Experience with Aruba ClearPass and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds Orion)

Server administration experience (Windows/Linux, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS)

Virtualization experience (VMware)

Experience with packet capture/analysis (Wireshark, SPAN)

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
