PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated Administrative Functional Support for our partner, a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll help keep critical information, documents, and engineering workflows moving—directly supporting programs that impact the world today and for generations to come.
As a Computer Operator, you’ll play an essential part in delivering accurate, timely document management and operational support across multiple business services. Your work ensures engineers, leadership teams, and internal customers have the information they need to design, build, and advance next generation aerospace systems. This is a high impact role for someone who thrives in a detail driven, fast moving environment.
Job Title: Computer Operator
Type: Full-Time; Consultant (12 Months)
Location: Melbourne, FL
Schedule:
Mon–Thurs: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Every other Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate Starting at $22.65 per hour
Scan documents, aperture cards, wide-format drawings, and more.
Perform file conversions, image cleanup, quality control, and post processing delivery.
Retrieve, research, distribute, and update engineering documents.
Manage sign in/out processes, control logs, printing, laminating, plotting, scanning, and archival support.
Retrieve mail from the post office, sort, route, meter, and process postage.
Coordinate site deliveries, pickups, and tracking.
Research and retrieve stored records.
Manage box requests, indexing, returns, and updates in the Records Retention Management System.
Provide accurate, timely information handling and support while following established procedures, guidance, and quality standards.
High school diploma or equivalent, plus some further education and/or related experience.
At least 1 year of hands on experience in Scanning & Document Management, Engineering Support, Mail Services, or Records Retention.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
One or more years of experience across Engineering Support, Scanning, Records Retention, and Mail Services.
Existing DoD Secret Clearance.
Prior military experience with a clean record (preferred but not required).
