Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $42.00 - $58.00 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire an Electrical PM&P (Parts, Materials & Processes) Engineer. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of electrical components used across advanced aerospace systems.
From evaluating components to qualifying suppliers and supporting cutting-edge technologies, your work will directly impact the safety and success of mission-critical platforms.
As an Electrical PM&P Engineer, you will:
Evaluate electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components for design, repair, and integration
Support suppliers and subcontractors to ensure components meet strict aerospace standards
Assist in defining requirements for tools, materials, parts, and processes
Develop engineering specifications and technical documentation
Participate in qualification and testing of components, materials, and processes
Conduct analysis to determine performance issues or root causes of failures
Support corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability and quality
Assist in implementing new technologies and materials into production
Apply knowledge of wiring systems, connectors, cables, and harness fabrication/installation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical, cost, and schedule goals
Incorporate Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), LEAN, and quality principles into all processes
Utilize project management tools to support program execution
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field preferred)
2+ years of engineering experience (or Master’s with relevant experience)
Familiarity with basic electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, etc.)
Understanding of requirements development and documentation
Knowledge of component evaluation and qualification processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in team environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aerospace or high-reliability environments (military, medical, automotive, industrial)
Knowledge of industry standards (SAE, MIL-SPEC, ASTM, IEEE), especially EWIS
Experience with connectors, wiring, cable assemblies, and harness systems
Background in component design, testing, and troubleshooting
Experience with fiber optics or advanced interconnect systems
Familiarity with SSOWs and customer deliverables
Experience in manufacturing or component fabrication
Ability to define and write technical requirements and specifications
