PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to hire a skilled Aircraft Machinist. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a critical part in manufacturing and maintaining high-precision components that keep aircraft operating safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

As an Aircraft Machinist, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision aircraft components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
• Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures for optimal machining performance
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed
• Conduct detailed inspections using precision measuring tools
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (vocational training or equivalent experience accepted)
• 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist
• 5+ years operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience with G-code programming and CNC controls
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts (1st and 2nd)
• Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA software
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
