Description:
We have an outstanding Contract position for an F-16 Production Flightline APG Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Greenville, SC surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine troubleshooting.
Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft.
Responsible for the acceptability of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft.
Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access to equipment requiring repair.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
Landing gear
Powerplants
Flight controls
Fueling/Defueling
Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
6+ Years of recent aircraft experience (fighter preferred but not required).
Desired Qualifications:
Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred.
4 years if they have relevant fighter jet experience.
