Summary:

Develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements.

Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.

Coordinate with suppliers on system development and compliance.

Test and validate systems to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.

Monitor supplier performance for system integration and requirement compliance.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across the product lifecycle.

Research technology advances for potential application.

Contribute to airplane installation designs and certification efforts.

Develop operational use cases and evaluate system performance.

Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to develop architecture and test environments.

Develop and execute integrated test procedures/plans.

Define and configure lab setups for testing.

Create software scripts to support or automate testing and analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.

5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems.

Knowledge of network, hardware, software systems, and technical architecture.

Experience in systems engineering: requirements definition, functional decomposition, integrated design, analysis, verification, and evaluation.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
