JOB TITLE: Fluid Systems Test Operations Engineer (ONSITE)
LOCATION: Mojave, CA
SALARY: $101,000-206,000/year

Summary:
Support propulsion test operations, including control room activities
Develop and document test requirements, plans, procedures, and reports
Design and support propulsion test hardware and Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
Manage plumbing and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Perform propulsion system analysis and troubleshooting
Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and post-test data reviews
Assist with integration of propulsion components onto the vehicle
Conduct component and subsystem-level testing for ground test readiness
Develop engineering tools to support testing and operations
Communicate regularly with propulsion test leadership
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Level II: Bachelor s degree + 2 5 years experience
Senior: Bachelor s degree + 5 10 years experience
Experience in one or more:
Fluid systems / mechanical testing
Rocket or propulsion system testing
Cryogenic systems (LOX preferred)
Instrumentation and calibration
Experience with propulsion ground testing and troubleshooting
Ability to develop test plans, procedures, and reports
Experience designing test hardware
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
MATLAB or Python
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Test Conductor or Control Room experience
Experience with Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
Liquid rocket engine testing experience
Experience with engineering drawings and work instructions
SolidWorks or CAD tools
Simulink / Simscape
Data acquisition systems (e.g., Curtiss-Wright DAS Studio)
IADS
Jira or similar configuration management tools
Active security clearance
